Letters To Arthur: A Short Story

Authors Note: Hello everyone hope you're doing well! Welcome to another short story. I wrote this one a while ago and honestly forgot about it, but I thought I'd share it now while I work through the writing slump I've found myself in. Thankfully, I think I've made progress and fingers crossed there will be… Continue reading Letters To Arthur: A Short Story

However, I've found that it is proving very hard to read AND write at the same time. You see, I have been working… Continue reading Why I Haven’t Been Reading

Time To Go: A Short Story

I have been here for what seems like one hundred years. The trees have grown unbelievably tall and the cars now require no human intervention. People keep taking pictures of me as they go about their days. Some of them say hello. Most of them walk past without a second glance. I understand though. While: A Poem

Thank you to Luna for posting my poem to her blog! This is a personal one but I hope someone out there can identify with it x

While I am tormented by my mind
Black butterflies invade my churning stomach
While I look upon my sleeping love
Not a single dream appears to be of me
While I doubt and doubt and doubt
Not you, but me
While the sting of hot tears briefly warms my raw skin
Where are you? Where are you?
While I handle this sharp blade
Contemplating, longing for a different sting
While I try to push the evil aside
The anger, oh this anger is raging inside
While I pull my hair hoping for relief
Left alone again

I have just started my blog to document my writing journey! I would never go as far to say I am a poet, but I do dabble in poetry now and again.  I only…
